Avoid in the winter

Decent layout, and pace of play was brilliant with nobody holding up our three ball, and nobody directly behind us either. However, the course conditions left a lot to be desired as it was akin to a swamp in places. It's very hilly, and conditions were better the higher we went, but lower down it was boggy. I'd probably play here again, but not until the summer at the earliest. As mentioned, it's very hilly though, so if fitness is something you struggle with, maybe avoid it.

Great course

Very frosty morning but didn’t take anything away from the course. The 3rd hole was closed but made up for it with a makeshift par 3 on the 17th. Very well layed out course.would definitely play again.

Nice course.

Great challenging course. Played in 2 degrees so some holes were icy and frosty but still a great game, hole 10 was a personal favourite, will definitely be back.

Winter golf

Weather good, ground very wet in places but it’s winter. Greens still hard from the frost but in very good condition.

Mostly off winter mats but no problem. Overall a very good test of golf ( which we often failed) and a very enjoyable walk.

Nice course, friendly staff

For the time of year, the course was in good condition, greens were still very good considering the weather we had. Staff in the clubhouse were helpful and friendly.

Good but not great

Our tee time was booked for 10:52am, there was no one there to check us in or help us, we waited 40 minutes to tee off, we waited around 35 minutes to get buggy’s sorted, overall a good course, conditions were good for this time of year, grounds keeper was a good laugh, wasn’t a great first impression, but a solid course in general

Challenging golf course

A good days golf. Challenging holes with plenty of variety. Even if the golf isn’t good the views are excellent. Each hole requires thought off the tee and errors are rewarded with a heather lie. Greens are very good and difficult to read. Overall course condition is good.

has potential

tee boxes are awful, no pro shop, pace of play was absolutely shocking considering the people ahead had golf buggies...ruined it for me. (not the club's fault to some extent). with how wet the course seemed I couldn't find a blower at the end to get all the much off me...they may have one but I couldn't see it...defo need one I was black after and it wasn't raining.
