About
The Navy Golf Course Seal Beach is a 27-hole facility that includes the championship Destroyer Course and the nine-hole executive Cruiser Course. The 6,780-yard Destroyer Course presents a challenge even for low handicappers with a slew of hazards coming into play throughout. The small greens have challenging slopes ranging from subtle breaks to dramatic drop-offs. To make them even tougher, you'll find strategically placed bunkers lurking along the edges. The tricky doglegs, which are mostly par 4s, will force you to think carefully about your club selection, and to top it all off, water makes an appearance on almost every hole. It's a long golf course that feels even longer due to the rolling terrain, but it is more forgiving than it seems with long, wide fairways that won't penalize you for being slightly errant.

Glad that the course finally opened up after the pandemic. This is a great course & still in great shape.
We played late in the day (last tee time for the day at 3 pm). The only complaint is that the marshall had us leave after 16 holes when there was still some light remaining. I guess their workers don't want to stay late. This is the only course I know that does this. Not the first time it has happened. Would definitely give this course 5 stars if it weren't for this issue.

Regarding refund
Hello
I've not play golf on 3/12 due to heavy rain.
And I've got information from Navy Golf course that I should ask the refund to Golf now.
So, pls. let me know your opinion for refund.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Our goal is to keep the pace of play running smoothly and to never have it too backed up. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.
Rain made it impossible to finish
Tee time was at 9:05, started sprinkling at 9:15 on second hole. Started pouring rain on fourth hole and could not continue. Was informed that there are “no rain checks” once you tee off. Not even a discount on next round. When I was paying for my tee time the clerk was finishing a phone call saying the rain shouldn’t arrive until noon to the guy on the phone. I took him at his word. Love this course, but can’t feel anything but disgust for the way we were treated today. Fifty + bucks for four holes, yeah lesson learned.
