About
The Navy Golf Course Seal Beach is a 27-hole facility that includes the championship Destroyer Course and the nine-hole executive Cruiser Course. The 6,780-yard Destroyer Course presents a challenge even for low handicappers with a slew of hazards coming into play throughout. The small greens have challenging slopes ranging from subtle breaks to dramatic drop-offs. To make them even tougher, you'll find strategically placed bunkers lurking along the edges. The tricky doglegs, which are mostly par 4s, will force you to think carefully about your club selection, and to top it all off, water makes an appearance on almost every hole. It's a long golf course that feels even longer due to the rolling terrain, but it is more forgiving than it seems with long, wide fairways that won't penalize you for being slightly errant.

Navy Destroyer Course
Beautiful course! Only got to play about 1/2 the course due to super twilight tee time but loved what we saw!
WARNING
So this course has a lot of potential and is really cool. I tee of at super twilight expecting to get maybe 15-17 in. First off the pace of play was unbearable. Classic marshal driving around not doing anything. Fine so it happens totally cool I play a lot of golf. It’s 7:50 and I’m teeing off. In the middle of my back swing some guy comes driving up yelling NO NO DONT HIT. I look and the people I am playing with are like ? So turns out the carts have to be in at this time like a drop dead for the military base. Now I get that and I’m completely fine with it BUT you have to tell people that. I wouldn’t tee off that late if I knew that I couldn’t play until dusk. Guy was rude too. Dudes at the proshop acted like they were working at Pelican. Sad part of it was i was enjoying the heck out of the course and woulda came back a bunch. Now unfortunately I will not be!

Excellent excellent staff. Beyond friendly and professional. And no my relatives or friends do not work there ha. But the course was in excellent condition.
Great course
It was our first time playing this course. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Course in great shape. Huge greens that roll nice with lots of undulations. Can’t wait to play it again.
