Cobblestone Park Golf Club - Black Course

The course was great And the staff was very nice . I was put with two from out of town was very nice. Cobblestone is a five star course. Need your A game to play it.

We played the gold coarse and as always Cobblestone is in great shape. I love putting on the fast but true greens. I hate to say it but we could use some rain to soften it up some. We will play here again and again. well worth the money!

The course was very nice great layout. Pace of play a little slow. The cart guys were great and helpful. Could use a beverage cart and there was no starter the day we played so a little hard to get going. I would play it again!

This course is always in top condition. The staff is good to deal with and well worth the money to play. This course forces you to use every club in your bag and you don't always need a driver off the tee.

This is how a golf course should be. Excellent practice facility. Good customer service. Great conditions and well looked after course. Special note to the bag boys who bring your cart right to your car in the parking lot and load you up while you are putting on your shoes. We also stayed after the round because if you go into proshop after round they give you a coupon for your first beverage cost equals your score. What a great way to promote the clubhouse.

When the staff met us at our car in the parking lot ,with our golf cart , I knew this was an exceptional course.

The staff was very organized and friendly, making sure everything was in place.

Course was beautifully laid out with a combination of wide open and challenging holes.

Lots of elevation changes and water to watch for, could have had gps in carts to help first time guests navigate the course.

Greens were playable and easy to read .

Recommend playing this course while in Columbia.

Cobblestone is the golf gem of the Midlands (Columbia, SC). As home to the nationally ranked University of South Carolina Gamecocks golf program, the course is always in amazing shape. The Garnet 9 is probably my favorite for the reason, it is the only 9 you can realistically walk on the 27 hole course.

It starts with a gentle and scoreable Par 4 on 1. After a slightly disjointed walk/ride, #2 is a long (175 yard from the Member Tees) Par 3 that can be difficult when the pin placement is to the right. You do not want to be left of the green on #2. This goes into a frustrating dogleg of a Par 4 #3 which includes a ravine about 100 years from an up hill green. #4 is very uphill Par 3 which a difficult green. #5 is a beautiful Par 5 that includes a large water hazard and a large church-pew-esque sand trap. #6 is a long Par 4 and #7 is a deceivingly tough Par 4 that has a fairway that slopes to the right and a large waste hazard separating the fairway and the green. #8 is yet another uphil Par 3 and you finish with a long uphill Par 5 on 9 with a sloping fairway and a finish in front of the club house.

This is the best 9 on the course and is best when played with Black.

For winter conditions the course is in excellent condition. will be back soon.

Great layout. Elevated tees. Pretty straight forward. Always in good condition. Could use staff at the starting gate. First tee was packed and no idea who was on deck. Need to regulate the flow of play

Spent $22 on a hot deal w GolfNow. Love this course!! Challenging, but pretty open. It was raining and had been raining the past 5 days off and on, but the course drains well and the greens are SPECTACULAR!! For the winter months, the foliage is nearly non-existing. Lots of pine needles, but not many leaves, which makes it pretty easy to find your stray shots. Can't stress enough how much I enjoy this course!! Great practice facilities and the restaurant is great as well!!

This golf is ok I have played much better track then COBB.

Outstanding course and in very good condition, would recommend it to everyone. Players of all handicaps can play it.

This course has the best conditions of any local course around the midlands. Nice layout with the ability to score if you hit the ball well. Highly recommend this course

I have lived in Aiken, SC for 14 months. I travel all over to play golf. This is the by far the best I have played in SC. I drove 1 1/2 hours to play here. This is as good as it gets. I will be back.

This course is wonderful, very pretty and hard to PAR. This is USC's home course, so it is a site to see. Pretty open, but you must hit the huge greens in a certain area due to speed and difficulty in pin placement. If you have never played here you SHOULD.

This course is one of my favorite courses since moving to the Carolina's. Staff is very nice, course is challenging and always in fantastic shape.

On a welm we stopped at this course with a little time on our hand while headed to Hilton head for a weekend of golf. We love the elevation and the scenery. I will play this course every time I'm in the area or passing threw.

Course was in excellent condition. Several blind shots if you have not played there before.
