About
The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Golfer Reviews
Not in good condition yet but overall ok
Some Fairways need time to growing grass . Back nine some of the fairways uneven which was old grass didn’t cut and new grass just grown . Compared to last year this time is the worst condition I had played . Give it sometime. The good news is Green are fast .
Great Layout
Course was in excellent condition. There was standing water in some bunkers and fairways due to the recent and rare rain in these neck of the woods. Kudos to the groundskeeping team for making best efforts to get the water pumped out. Buffet breakfast is a really nice touch- omelettes made to order, fresh fruit, pancakes and more. Very friendly staff all around. Practice facilities are top notch, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Good conditions, excellent value
The course was in excellent condition and is one we'll definitely play again. Our group ranged from 6 index to 24 index and everyone found it playable. The only negative comment is that some of the tees are close to the houses.
Sub-4 hour round on Sunday afternoon 👍
The course is beautiful and very well maintained. It’s a pleasure to play here and it’s nice that the course is available for public play on Sundays. Highly recommend.
Great Experience
The course is in fabulous shape and all Staff members were polite and professional. Range was impeccable and the green fees included brunch (also solid). Happy to give this place my money.
Amazing!
This has to be one of the best courses in the desert. It’s a bummer it’s only open to the public 1 day a week. Their practice facilities are more robust than any other course. Course was on the easier side, but has a great layout. Brunch was included,
Course is great but…
The course is in great shape after reopening for the season. Played in the afternoon and was able to finish. Due to the just reopening it was cartpath only which we understood. Layout is great and fun and not that long of a course. The staff was great and range is nice. But I do have an issue with the members. We were approached 3 times by members regarding sanding our divots. The first time I have no issues with we forgot out sand bottles and the members were cool. The second and third time I have an issue with. Second time we were approached, they were outside in their backyard and yelled across the fairway to say something. We let them know that we ran out of sand and there’s wasn’t any available on the course for us to refill our bottles. The third time, a member drove their car and parked it in the middle of the cartpath to cross the street essentially blocking us in and said something about the sanding of the divots. At this point our sand ran out 3 holes prior and I let him know. I also told him we would be more than happy to fill out divots but there’s no where to refill our bottles. He shook his head and drove away. All I gotta say is if they wants us to use sand, which is fair, maybe have more sand available to refill our bottles on the course. Also my buddy’s cart only had 1 bottle.. the other one wasn’t even there and there wasn’t a holder for it. This course charges god know how much for people to be a member and charges $130 for a geeen fee and they can’t have better carts and sand in the course..
