About
The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Service
Moises in the pro shop was wonderful. Friendly and smiling. Allowed me to move up my tee time. People there are always friendly. Receptionist out front also wonderful.
Friendly and good value
Course was in good shape and well taken care of. Staff were friendly and helpful. Course really needs a beverage cart though or at least the snack shack needs to be open. Good value though and we would come back. Open enough layout to be forgiving , but enough of a challenge to be enjoyable as well.
Lush
The grounds crews due an amazing job keeping all areas of the course in lush condition. Many courses in the valley must be envious of how they are able to maintain their superb quality during the summer months. Pro shop and cart attendant staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Well done.
This was a treat to play! The greens were absolutely wonderful. A fun play, not to many worries.
Loved it!!
This was a last minute round and I wanted to play somewhere nice and with great quality conditions and this course did NOT disappoint. From the tee boxes to the greens everything was in great condition. Fairways are nice and wide, rough was cut just right as to slow your ball down if you rolled into it but not deep enough to make your shot out to difficult. Bunkers were decent with real sand and for the price and the experience, it was worth every part of $65.00... I would highly recommend this course and I cant wait to come back and play again!! This is not a difficult course and you can score low if you hit your shots smartly and accurately.
Hidden Desert Gem!
I've played all of the top courses in the desert.
However, this was my first time playing Heritage Palms because I thought it was private club. I now know what I've been missing all these years! The course was outstanding, The layout was very much like a country club, with challenging holes and wide fairways. It will permanently be on my list of courses to play whenever I'm in the Palm Springs area.
Great day
First time playing the course...staff friendly...got out early...course in great shape....highly recommend .
only one complaint
first rate people in clubhouse....course conditions for summertime were acceptabe...my only complaint was that twice during my round, homeowners as singles interupted my play with no regard to etiquette..., I guess they just decided to start their round right behind me?...no way they caught me, as I played in about 2&1/2 hours...I suspect they are not supposed to do that?
