On your next Las Vegas golf trip, make sure to put Chimera Golf Club at the top of the list of "must plays." Opened in July 2003, Chimera Golf Club (previously known as Tuscany Golf Club) is one of the newer golf courses in Las Vegas.
This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.
Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.
Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. Greens aren’t green
The greens are currently in terrible condition. Sad because it’s such a great course. Patchy, bumpy, and some are more than half dead with green sand in place of grass. No consistency from green to green and conditions make for a real challenge. Bunkers need sand as most are more firm dirt than sand. The rest of the course is in good shape.

Awful greens
They have totally lost the greens. It’s a disgrace that they don’t tell you. Quit after 9 holes.

Great Track. Greens are struggling
Reviews were spot on. Course is a lot of fun with all kind of shot making holes. Unfortunately the greens are a mess. They look worse than they play though.

Fairways great, greens...not so much
Tee boxes and fairways are nice and green with lots of grass and good lies. Greens look like they have suffered some damage by some sort of mold or fungus. The back 9 greens were just ok, puttable although kind of rough. The front 9 greens were in significantly worse shape, with seemingly more damage. Putts would bounce all over the place, with no consistency of speed.
Pace of play is almost always an issue on this course, but usually only on weekends, and not so much during the week. There were at least 5 holes that I recall where my group was the 3rd waiting to tee off!

Chimera Golf Course
Always liked this course. People are great and locals can get break in price to play most of the time. On this day the greens were in bad shape which took away from the round. Once they get this squared away it is a good place to play.Golf Now should clearly indicate when a course is not in normal playing condition.
