On your next Las Vegas golf trip, make sure to put Chimera Golf Club at the top of the list of "must plays." Opened in July 2003, Chimera Golf Club (previously known as Tuscany Golf Club) is one of the newer golf courses in Las Vegas.
This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.
Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.
Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. Almost Perfect
WOW. What a great layout and staff. That said the course need to be shut down and “mend”. The is no sand in any sand trap and the greens are ALL either infected with a bug or over treated. I gave the course a low overall rating because putting was impossible. You’d have a better chance of putting on a rug

Cart girl non existent
I really liked the course. The greens were kind of bad but with the winter we had it wasn’t really the courses fault. Pace of play was decent. However we played all 18 holes and did not see the cart girl one time. Kind of frustrating especially since we were told she was our and about. Had our group known that we would not see her on either the front or back nine we would have made sure to stock up on beverages before starting and before teeing off on 10.

I've been playing this course for 16 years this is absolutely the worst that the greens have EVER been. They were sandy
missing grass, fungus, puts were bouncing all over the place.
I sure hope they get better summer's coming !!!

Poor condition
Course is in poor condition, greens appeared to have been infected with a fungus and putting was very inconsistent. Save your money and go play else where.

Dirt greens
Something killed most of the greens so you’re putting on dirt. playing on punched greens would be 100 % improvement on what they have. Sad because it’s a really good track.

Best Value, Fun Course
Played Chimera for the first time with my dad. It was a ton of fun. The pace of play was awesome. Had to wait a bit after the 4th hole, but still played in 4 hours with 3 of us. The fairways were beautiful, and some of the views are amazing. The greens were a little rough but that typical this time of year. Normally by the 18th hole I'm ready to be done, but this time I wished there was more holes. The course has some wide fairways, some tight, some layup holes, and some water. Lots of variations to make the game fun. The staff was amazing. Very respectful and friendly, but not annoyingly friendly. I convinced 3 of my friends to go with me next week. Can't wait to play there again.

Green are horrible
It's a very nice course dedtroyey by the worse greens I have ever seen.They sre bumpy, brown, and look like soms places are actually painted.

Greens were just sanded
Greens were just sanded so it was extremely hard to putt on the first 9. Back nine, great pace, greens were fine. Just get past the first 9 holes and it was great!

27 hole masterpiece but...
Please check the wind before playing this course. We played on a day when there was 50+ mph winds and there were very few of us out playing that day. It's a great course and I'd love to play all 27 holes in one day but we're on a mission to play every course in Vegas.

Terrible value...
We were excited to play this course, especially when we pulled up to a gated community. What a dissapointment. Course arrival we had 2 uninterested teenagers great us. Garbage was over flowing at the greeting area and stayed that way until we were done our round. 40 min delay at 1:30pm and we kept being told that they may not have carts that we had already paid for. The grass tees at the range were horrendous. We got our carts after 40 mins and made our way to the 1st tee where we met the rudest most unproffesional starter ever, so much so that I almost lost my patience with him. We proceed to play the front nine on the worst codition greens I have ever seen, just awful. The back nine was better, not good by any strectch, however still very inconsistent. The views are nice and the layout is decent but the conditions were terrible. I would never play here again. The next day we drove to Laughlin Ranch, paid signifigantly less and the course was night and day. Chimera is a goat track and the admistration should be embarrased. Terrible.

This used to be one of the best kept courses in the valley. Unfortunately the greens are atrocious and need a lot of work.
