Course Highlights
The Wolf course at Paiute delivers immaculate high-desert conditions, a dramatic layout framed by mountains, and GPS carts with pro tips on every hole. Consistently friendly staff and smooth pace of play make this one of the top golf experiences in the Las Vegas area.

Forget everything you've heard about that gentler, kinder Pete Dye at Paiute. When you step onto the Wolf Course at the Las Vegas Paiute Resort, the legendary architect with the cold hacker heart returns. And then some. The newest of the three Paiute courses, comes in at a staggering 7,604 yards.

And it's an isolated 7,604 yards. You don't only get lost in your round here. You could almost literally get lost in the desert with a few wrong turns off the cart path. Drives that go flying off target deep into the desert areas are unlikely to found by another human ever. A rattlesnake might be keeping your Pro V1s company for the rest of their days. This is stunning scenery, capable of leaving the most cynical hacker open mouthed.

Paiute Wolf is just a far enough drive away from the Sin City hustle that it's likely the top, high-end course you can easily get on last minute in the Vegas valley. It also might be the best of them all.

Also known as Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort - Kwetoo-Unuv Course.

Great day

Beautiful course to play and challenging. Pretty windy day but it seems it's always windy there. I was happy with pace of play compared to the last time we played there.

Playing at the Wolf

Played under a hot deals rate $35. Well worth it! Greens were plugged but ball still rolled OK. Layout is as challenging as you are willing to make it. Several tee options.

What an Awesome Experience!!!

If you're ever in Vegas for any reason and want to squeeze in a round of golf, make sure you check out Paiute Resort....unbelievable...You need to expose yourself to the ultimate challenge and play from the back tees....don't bother with the tournament tees. It plays at over 7600 from those tees and not worth the pain...play the Black tees at 7009 so you can really experience the beauty of this course and also test your abilities....
Add it to your bucket list.....

Fantastic course and fantastic value

You need to come play this course! The Wolf is a wonderful course. The holes are well-designed for high handicappers to scratch. The course was in amazing condition and the greens rolled wonderfully.
The island green Par 3 is worth alone to see and play!
I will be going back again as soon as possible to play.

I did play (9) of the Sun course but the round was cut short due to a storm coming across the area. I also really liked the Sun course and would love to play the remaining (9) holes there too.

The price of admission is unbeatable for the excellent course conditions. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Make a point to play here! You will love it!

Fun, long, and windy

The course is in great condition. It is a long with plenty of lengthy par 4. It was windy so made it a bit tougher, but A fun challenge. Beautiful scenery and landscape. I'd pay pay up to $75. A must if you can get for under $60.

Unbearably slow

The course is great, just be sure to check and see what the pace is. I was put behind a 6 group foursome that should have been on 5 or 6 when I started. Paired up with a twosome on 3, caught the foursome on 4. Probably 20 min until we caught them from the start. These guys were in the desert looking for balls for a good 10 min. then would wait to hit towards the green from about 270 yds away. They only drove the ball about 140...The twosome played two holes and then decided to jump around to different holes. I played one more hole. At the two hour mark I drove the ball into hole 6 and decided that was enough. I expected to wait as a single, but an hour and 45 min for 3 holes? I passed the starter trying to get back to the clubhouse and all he could do was apologize. At that point, I didn't want to play anymore and went ahead and left. The course itself was in great condition except for all the sprinklers being on while driving into them. They did however cut off when I got up to them. All 3 courses here are some of the best maintained courses in Vegas. I was just soooo disappointed that I didn't get to play a full round at the coveted Wolf course.

Fantastic Place

I had a great time out here... It's beautiful, fun, and in great shape.

Couple of things:
It's hot and windy out there so come prepared because it takes a toll even if you're riding and in decent shape you have to drink water and keep as cool as you can - there is no shade out there. They do give you ice and towels and there are a lot of water stations but you should be prepared too.

From a golf perspective it is typical Pete Dye in that if you shoot at the pin and miss your iron shot by a couple of yards results in a difficult chip/pitch shot (did I mention it's windy?). The course is well maintained and is beautiful. I found playing it at the 7,000 yard tees was a lot of fun - you'll think that the altitude will make it play shorter but I only remember two holes where you weren't hitting your tee shot directly in to the prevailing wind so it played every yard of that distance and allowed for hitting multiple clubs off the tee and on approach - really enjoyed that part of it. Greens rolled beautifully but really firmed up in the afternoon so allow for some bounce and roll out.

I think it's a must play and its easy to get out to if you have a rental car or are local.

Outstanding

We played both the Wolfe and Sun Mtn courses. Both were fun and challenging layouts although Wolfe was the favorite. Fairways, greens, and bunkers were all in outstanding condition. The staff from the outside service, pro shop, and restaurant were welcoming and friendly.
We saw the cart girl numerous times and she made sure we had plenty of ice for the hot day. It is a ways north of town but well worth the drive. We will definitely go back on our next vacation.

Pauite Wolf

Course was in very good condition. Greens I don't think rolled at an 11 pace like I was told, but they were smooth. The only issue I have with Pauite is the GPS. My IPhone 6 Plus has a bigger screen. It is not a good system. WAY too small. Hard to read. My playing partners did not know it showed distance to bunkers from the tee until I told them around the 5th hole. Other than that, it is a very nice facility.

Pace

Great resort, love all three courses. But this time got paired up with 3 golfers that wanted to play the black tees on the Wolf course. One of them had the distance, the other two, not!

2 hours 40 minutes to play 9, and we were the first group out. I quit after 9, which I never do, I could not take the pace, or the frustration of the groups behind us.
