About
The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

We enjoyed the course a lot
we loved the course! The Biltmore is simply beautiful!
Overall Good
Got a hot deal, well worth the money. Course was in good condition and greens rolled good. Starter did not really have a clue what was going on. First he told me to play solo, took the cart to the first tee and he then told me to wait so we would be a threesome and right when we were about to tee off a fourth person showed up and played with us.
Pleasant surprise
Cost is a bit high but worth it as we finished in under four hours.... Back nine is tougher than front
Greens are well maintained
Great Donald Ross track. Excellent overall facilities, very playable course. Greens were in great shape.
Great Historic Miami Course
Greens were smooth and quick. Tees and fairways in great shape. Historic and great Donald Ross layout.
Only problem was the rough, specially around greens. Common Bermuda so in the winter it’s thin and puffy making chipping horrendous. At least for me.. would rather be in green side bunkers than chipping out of dirt with no root structure.
Pleasant, not special
Course is in reasonably good shape. Golf etiquette about filling divots and repairing ballmarks on the greens is poor. As long as it is cart players, pace is fine. Large greens are challenging (more so due to balllmarks), Pleasant course but somewhat overpriced.
Great Experience
This was my favorite course I’ve played so far in South Florida. The practice area was pretty good. The chipping area was great. I played from the back tees and shot a 78 as a 2 handicap. The three of the par 3’a are a bit long (235, 240, 260 and 166) but otherwise the course is a fair challenge. The tee boxes were well maintained and the greens roll true. The wild life on the course was a bonus for my wife. Also, you couldn’t ask for a nicer more attentive staff. I am from Atlanta and I will be back to play Biltmore soon. Thanks for the great experience.
Great course
We played this course while visiting Miami , course is nice , very good lay out , fairways and greens are fast .
Staff is rim friendly but the pace of play is really slow , no Marshall to help with the pace of play .
Ok
I expected the course to be in better condition. Not worth the value.
