Bella Collina Golf Club
About
Nestled in the hills of Montverde, Bella Collina Golf Club overlooks not only the vineyards of Central Florida but also the sparkling blue waters of Lake Apopka and Lake Siena. The layout sprawls across more than 1,900 acres of rolling hills, incorporating lush forested valleys and sweeping dunes. Nick Faldo designed this lengthy championship course, which from its back tees stretches to over 7,500 yards. Faldo utilized the natural contours of the land to create a golf course that requires more than just skill or distance. Creative shot-making and careful strategy will be generously rewarded. The diverse terrain provides plenty of challenges as well as a unique and visually stunning backdrop. Bella Collina is known amongst locals as one of the most scenic golf courses in the area. The stunning views and beautiful setting are worth the round alone.

Lots of sand and elevation changes.
Excellent course, beautiful clubhouse and friendly staff. Make sure you take a look around in the locker room and restaurants.
I will definitely make this course part of our annual trip to Orlando.
Very good
Challenging course in good condition. Greens were smooth and relatively true.
Beautiful ground and club house
We thought we were in Tuscany upon our arrival. The grounds and buildings were impressive. Check out the change rooms which are posh. Regular green fees are expensive. Golfnow had some reduced rates. The course is hilly which is unusually for central Florida. It is a longer drive from Orlando (~35-40 minutes). Lots of deep bunkers but no water. The greens are large and fast. Great course layout. Highly recommended if you want to play a non Floridian course near Orlando.
A great Links Golf Test.
We played this course Thanksgiving Day in a Big Wind. The Clubhouse was impressive and the course was just great. Lots of fun and good value.
Fun course to play
Nice layout a little easier than Lake Jovita and Southern Dunes, Greens in good condition and perfect speeds.
Beautiful, Challenging and a Must Play.
This is a MUST PLAY course in the Orlando area for those that enjoy elevation, lighting greens with plenty of break and a beautiful layout.
You find yourself looking from the tee box wondering "where do I hit too", but the hole layout book will reveal that it is just a visual blind view as the holes have a plenty of room, you just can't see it.
The clubhouse is like arriving in a tuscan landscape and the service is excellent.
Enjoy the round, it should be memorable.
beautiful and extrodinary
The most beautiful clubhouse, locker room and grounds. Tough to read the greens because of the hills and valleys. Really memorable golf experience for Central Florida. 3rd best course behind Isleworth and Lake Nona!
Great Course ...but for the rain :(.
We played 1-5 and the rain started and it appears to be a very beautiful course. The sad thing is we were not offered a rain check...
Worth the drive
A real gem off the beaten path. Every hole presents a challenge and an opportunity. Pick your poison.
course is in great shape.
Course is a definate challenge. Greens in good condition and pretty fast, but puttable. Fairways and tee boxes very good condition. Love the coolers and water on the carts, great perk.
Personal very friendly and helpful.
GREAT TRACK FAST GREENS 12.0
GREAT LAY OUT PLAYED WHITE TEES 6500 YDS FEW HOLES DOWN HILL, FEW UP HILL BACK TEES 7500 YDS GREAT STAKK 83,000 SQ FT CLUBHOUSE. NICE FEWS
excellent course
Lots of fairway bunkers. lush fairways. large true greens. many tee distance choices. From back tees a challenge for anyone. Must hit tee shots accurately or you're in trouble.Wonderful experience. Don't take cash...bring your credit card...even for the refreshment cart. Most friendly staff even compared to Pebble Beach
This course has great features
This is an immaculate, pristine course w/ lots of hills & undulations. Greens fast & true. Fun. Golf carts w/ windshields & rain cover for bags. Pro shop & all other employees friendly & helpful.
Undulating greens and elevation changes make this a great challenge.
Nick Faldo used every contour to the full to define this course and all the ones left over he included in the greens. Bid breaking puts on tiered greens add to the challenge.
A must play.
Wonderful resort with a very good course
This is a place one must see (and play). The clubhouse looks like a small Italian village. The service is overall very good. Good training facility. The course is awfully long from the back tees (Faldo) and cannot be played by a “regular” golfer from there. But even from the shorter tees it is long and some holes are challenging. Well maintained everywhere, although some places the fairways have been shortly damaged by rain. Bunkers are well playable and greens are very good and fast. The restrooms are big, fully equipped (ice, water etc.) and clean. The pace of play was not very fast, maybe due to a lack of attendance by a players assistant who was not seen out there. But this was the only thing to complaint. Overall – It is quite, very nice out there and really recommendable.
challenging course, beautiful club house
Spectacular club house, probably one of the hardest courses most people would have ever played in the Orlando area
Beautiful course.
This is a fantastic golf course although very difficult to maintain because of its elevation changes. Sandtraps in particular although plentiful are inconsistent in maintenance and types of sand. The back tees at over 7500 yards are ridiculous - the course is hard enough from a shorter distance. The greeens are great with tricky undulations that are difficult to read. Play it before it goes private!!!
The Hidden Gem of Florida
Oh what a course!!! Pure opulence. A very posh club house and a very challenging course. This course is anything but flat. Traps, traps, and more traps. You have to be consistent and accurate to score well on this course. Every hole on this course is it's own hole. This course is not forgiving. You will be punished if you miss shots. The greens are very large and you can count on several 3 putts for misplaced approach shots. The carts do not have GPS which was the only disappointment. Arrive early as the practice facilities are excellent and complimentary.
Beverage cart is charge only, no cash.
out of the way but worth the drive from Orlando
a thinking man's course with many bunkers, both fairway and greenside.more blind shots than i like so course knowledge is essential..lots of elevation changes and wonderful views of Lake Apopka and many nearby hills. A joy to play especially for under $50..the most beautiful locker room ever!!(said my sons!!)
