Great tract awesome experience
Great golf course. Great stuff beautiful facility. Looking forward to playing it again as soon as possible. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed everything and everyone. If you’re ever in North Carolina, definitely play Thistle.

Nice Course, Bad bag staff
Course has nice layout but greens were sloooooow. Also, was held up by the bag staff for 20 minutes after my 4:30 tee time so they could pair my group with another. I didn’t mind at the time and was on track to shoot my best round ever (-4 with two holes remaining). Sun was still up and we were playing fast, 20 minutes tops to finish. The bag staff rudely came onto the course and forced our group into the club house, no questions asked. It would have been nice to at least have the ability to walk the rest, but that was apparently not an option. I can say because of this treatment I will never go back and recommend you support another of the areas fine courses instead of this one.
I concur with your review. This staff treats you like a herd of cows. The golf course gets too much play and is not as advertised. Too bad because the layout is a good one.

Love to play here
We have played thistle during each of our recent trips to Myrtle. The clubhouse is great and staff super friendly. There are 3 nines; Cameron (probably the best), Stewart (2nd best), McKay (decent but nothing special). The staff are really helpful and provide a top notch experience. Greens are very good, firm & fast with subtle break. Played Cameron/Stewart which is our preferred 18. Cameron is probably the best out there with plenty of water and a few gators. They have a smallish range but it is nice for warming up. The carts are nice and the GPS is helpful. Layout is fun and challenging. You probably won’t be disappointed. Fairways and tees a little lean but adequate. Like everywhere the snack bar closes at 3 so eat early or pack some snacks. 18 is a long par 3 on Stewart is tough but unique. I would prefer if they let us play Stewart/Cameron.

An amazing course, top tier course management and condition. Not quite worth the price but given the golf season peak cannot blame them.

Rocky Start… Overall Great Experience
Overall, my time at the Thistle Golf Club facility was stellar. Great conditions, layout, course amenities, and at a ‘decent’ value. Only issue I had was with the bag drop guys. First time playing at this facility and the bag drop guys couldn’t have made me feel less welcome. I had to let them know 3 separate times that I was there and ready for my tee time & they seemed to brush me off and only pay attention to who seemed like regulars at the facility. Then, I finally got tossed into a tee time that was about 20-30mins later than my actual tee time & on a course combination that I did not sign up for (really wanted to play Cameron). With all this aside, I will absolutely be coming back on my next trip to Myrtle Beach. The course played well to my playing style and I throughly enjoyed my time there after I finally got on the course.

Absolutely surreal experience! My husband and I are on vacation from Canada and we decided to treat ourselves to a more luxurious experience and Thistle did not disappoint! Although started off feeling shaky and nervous to be at such an incredible spot it didn’t take long to feel at home wishing we could come back again and again :) Course was in amazing shape - staff were phenomenal - grounds like we’ve never seen. And to top it off we were paired with the most lovely couple! Best golf experience yet! Spend the money and go to Thistle!

Great playing experience
Decided to play due to recommendation from a buddy of mine. Was not disappointed. Course was in great shape. Staff really showed their appreciation for me being there and couldn’t be more proud of their course. Will definitely play again.
