Excellent conditions
Parce of play was slow, and threesomes were inserted wich made it even slower for them.
Teetime at 1:30, almost dark when finished. This added pressure on the back 9. But overall à good afternoon.
Great Day at Thistle Golf Club
First time playing Thistle in a few months. Had 12 guys from our neighborhood playing. Did have a 30 minutes frost delay, but not unexpected. Given the cold weather over the past few days, was very surprised & pleased with the condition of the course and pace of play. Had the first 3 tee times and finished the front nine in under 2 hours. Little slower as we caught up to the last group that went off the other nine (Thistle has 3 nines). Still finished in 4 hours. Staff as always, was very helpful and professional. Always a pleasure playing a great course with a terrific staff & in great condition. Thanks for a great day.

Myrtle Beach vacation
Me and my family have short vacation in South Carolina Myrtle Beach. We played 4 different courses.
This one was definitely the best. It was worth for us to cross state lines (only half an hour drive).
Definitely be back and play one 9 that we did not play.

Must play this course
Everything was in pristine condition for December. Definitely give it a try, well worth an hour or 2 drive to play there,water and deep bunkers galore.They do have a restraunt and were running a beverage cart during last week of the year.

Nice course, a little overpriced
Played here on a Hot Deal. Like most MB courses, fairways were rye and Bermuda was dormant. Fairways, tees and greens were superb. Greens were really quick. Running about 11. Bunkers groomed nicely. Carts had USB ports which is a nice touch. We finished in under 4 hours. Food in clubhouse was excellent. Especially the grilled ham and cheese. Only issue is the cost. Paying over $100 out of season is unjustified. I wouldn’t consider Thistle a premium course like Caledonia or True Blue. More like a Crow Creek or The Wizard. My brother and I had multiple GolfNow rewards built up each so we wound up paying only like $36 per person combined with the Hot Deal.

one of the best, if not the best, maintained course on the Grand Strand. Great staff from Bag drop to pro shop and restaurant staff.

Thistle Golf Club never disappoints; one of the best conditioned courses along the Strand. The overseed is excellent with really nice coverage and plays well. Enjoy everyone!

Very interesting course
We only got in 9 holes but enjoyed playing the Stewart 9 very much. Course conditions were excellent. Concrete cart paths were in great shape and the carts were just about the best I've ever used. Interesting holes but not crazy challenging. Greens were readable. The clubhouse and facilities were excellent. Looking forward to my next trip to Sunset Beach when I'll play Thistle again.

Great course
Course was in amazing shape. Challenging but fun. Got to see some gators and wild life.
Pace got a little slow towards the end of the day but will definitely be back.

Course was in great shape. Only downside was getting behind two over imbibing foursomes that couldn’t see straight little alone hit straight. Will come back
