Fun round with a friend
Can’t wait to get back and play this course again. Chose it randomly as a half way point between Atl and Charlotte.
Course was in wonderful condition and we hit a perfect fall day. Views of the lake are awesome on the back nine. Just a very fair test of golf. Was not a fan of the 18 th hole, But having played it once now I should be a little more equipped for the next time out. Only draw back was play was a little slow, we waited a few minutes on several holes on the front and again on 10 and 11. Cart said we were 16 minutes behind target time. The ranger must of felt we were the problem so he started badgering us to pick up the pace, This was somewhat uncalled for as we would have had to hit into the group in front of us to play faster.
Didn’t ruin the day though, great course and we will be back
Great course
This course is challenging from any set of tees. Really enjoy playing here. It will be really nice once the new clubhouse is finished.
Wow…… what a great course
First time out. Was always skeptical of the course. Awesome layout. Greens are phenomenal. Pro shop and practice range are under renovation. So is #18……..shame they have to have a temporary green in the middle of the fairway with a 5 gallon bucket as a cup (hole in ones don’t count)
Overall great course. Will definitely be back. Shout out to the Clemson turf management program for keeping this course in great shape!
Clemson golf
Fun course with Great Lake views. Greens were excellent except for being a little soft snd slow but rolled as smooth as you will ever find.
The had 18 playing as a par 3 with an 18inch hole for a temp green due to construction.
Would not think the temp green will last more than a week more.
New golf shop coming with a trailer for a short while longer.
Fairways were great and had an enjoyable day.
Be sure and play the course

Country club conditions
If you’re like me and can’t afford a high end country club, this course is as good as it gets for under a hundred bucks. I’ve played here off and on for over twenty years and it’s always in great shape. It’s a good layout and has several beautiful holes with views of lake Hartwell. You won’t be disappointed.
Beautiful course
I’ve played Clemson Walker course probably 10 times in 20 years and I’ve yet to be disappointed. Conditions are always very good better than a lot of private courses I’ve played. The layout is fun without being overly punishing and the scenery particularly on the back nine is beautiful. I highly recommend this course.
Would Recommend
Only reason for not all 5's is because of the construction.
We enjoyed playing there. Will p l ay it again. The only thing I would do differently. You need to have sandwiches at the food trailer. This a big one you have to have chili for the hot dogs.
Excellent Conditions!
Greens looked and putted great. Fairways were lush. Just what you would expect from a school with an agricultural program.
Great Course
The course was fabulous, especially the last couple of holes that run along the lake. I want to play it again!

The course was challenging from the purple tees. The condition of the course was wonderful. They are building a fabulous clubhouse. Everything about the course and facilities were top notch including some great views on the back nine.

Everything was terrific, from staff to the golf course layout including condition of the course. Only three stars for clubhouse as it is under construction
