Golfer Reviews
Walker Course
Played the course multiple times and it’s always been in great condition. The tee boxes are well maintained. The greens were in great condition. The 18th hole was just opened after a minor redesign, raising the green and adding ‘tiger paw’ bunkers. The range is limited to 220 yds at present due to construction of a new club house and visitor center
Awesome
Terrific Course and experience. Tee boxes, greens, and course in great condition. Played sat before FSU/Clemson so driving range was closed but I was aware of it. All the staff was super nice getting in for 9:00 time with a noon kickoff there was a bit of traffic took about about :25 from interstate but again I was aware of it so not a problem. Layout is great.
One of the best... in the area
We really like this course; we find it in great conditions. Super nice good size greens with sufficient space around them, with sand traps and deep Bermuda grass to keep the game interesting.
Great golf course!
One of the best public courses around. Great conditions always and the layout is friendly but not easy. Some work is done at the 18th hole, I hope is finished soon.
Good course
Solid course, one of the nicer public courses I’ve played in the Greenville/Seneca area. We paid 70 for the greens fees and cart which I think is a tad steep but course was in good condition. Good layout need to know where to miss on the course or you get punished.
Walker
Everything was great except the bald guy in the shop. He was rude to everyone. They should fire him.
Needs new carts
Fantastic golf course. But please invest in new carts. They barely make it through 18 holes. Replayed 9 and cart died on #3. Clubhouse would not answer phone. Have had this happen 3 times before. The back side is no fun lugging a tour bag around. Today I was lucky as one of the cart guys was coming around to collect the flags. For between 60$ and 90$ should not be el cheapo on the carts. Gps would be nice also. Should be customary for such a pricey course. Brookstone and Pinelake has gps. They are not on the level Walker is. Step up your cart game Clemson. Get Dabo to write a check.
Absolutely Great Experience
I was in town on business and had always wanted to play here. I am very glad I did. The course was in great shape tee to green. Fairways were immaculate and greens rolled nicely even though they were still recovering from being aerated. It is a challenging course and has some really cool holes. Very well priced es as well. I highly recommend playing here is in the area.
