About
The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Golfer Reviews
Beautiful playing conditions for golfers of all abilities. Fairways and greens were pristeen. Great driving range and putting green. Excellent lunch on the patio with scenic mountain views. Pro shop staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would love to play it again.
Excellent Experience
Great staff, from start to finish. Beautiful course. Perfect for a family.golf outing!
Best manicured course I have been on other than Augusta
A beautifully maintained course with lots of rolling terrain, sand and elevated greens, Arthur Hills trademarks. It was more friendly than other of his courses I have played which leave the golfer with few even lies. It is a golf community so one doesn’t have the beautiful mountain vistas other courses in the area have, but the grounds were exceptionally well maintained. Hat’s off to the greenskeeper!
Only got to play 9 holes due to darkness, but enjoyed the course.
Perfect day
Got a late TeeOff time: 3:22PM and expected to play only 9. Was able to tee off earlier than scheduled and was able to zip through the course and play 17 holes before it got dark. That’s in 2.5hrs. That was fun golf. The course is in great shape, from tee boxes to fairways to greens. Can’t wait to play it again.
Frustrating
We booked on GolfNow for $99 and when we got there they did not honor the $99 and charged us $125. We paid it so we could golf. The pro blamed GolfNow. Otherwise, really nice course.
Rough over seeded nicely.
Course all green with overseed Whole course well maintained. Best greens we played while here for the last month. Smooth with more speed than others.
Frustrating
We booker on GolfNow for a rate of $99 @ 12:45. When we got there the pro shop said GolfNow was wrong and it was $125. We wanted to play and get 18 in before sunset, so we paid. But - not happy with the course honoring the GolfNow price.
