The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Great golf experience!
Course was in fantastic condition. Greens were rolling fast and not bumpy. Great value. Staff was super friendly. Definitely on my list to play again when in the area. Would recommend it highly.

Great course, Excellent condition and the brunch is pretty good too
Customer service lacking but course in great shape
Frost delay and was never called. Others in my group were called. Kept letting members who just walked up and wanted to play ahead of us. Course in very good shape just wish I had gotten a discount since I paid for 18 holes and didn’t get to finish.
Excellent course
Had a great time playing this course. Greens were fantastic and fairways were also in excellent condition. Only things I’d recommend is having a cart person and also have quick food to grabs. Amazing time all around.
A+ to the Greenskeeper
This course is in fantastic shape! The Greenskeeper deserves an A+. This course was in much better shape than any of the PGA West courses. Don't miss it.
Must Play
Course conditions were excellent. The greens and fairways are in perfect shape. Lots of room off the tee but approach shots are tricky with bunkering and greens with lots of slope and subtle breaks. The driving range, pro shop and restaurant are up there with any high end golf resort. Will definitely play again.

Wow, so green and lush!! Cart path only (which is the norm this week) but a great job on the overseed. Course was in fantastic condition, greens were fast and true. Just need more marshalling to keep the groups moving along.
Perfect golf day ..
A perfect golf day at a perfect course! If I hadn’t found so many challenging bunkers…it would he been a perfect game too!
