About
The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Golfer Reviews
Excellent course
Had a great time playing this course. Greens were fantastic and fairways were also in excellent condition. Only things I’d recommend is having a cart person and also have quick food to grabs. Amazing time all around.
A+ to the Greenskeeper
This course is in fantastic shape! The Greenskeeper deserves an A+. This course was in much better shape than any of the PGA West courses. Don't miss it.
Must Play
Course conditions were excellent. The greens and fairways are in perfect shape. Lots of room off the tee but approach shots are tricky with bunkering and greens with lots of slope and subtle breaks. The driving range, pro shop and restaurant are up there with any high end golf resort. Will definitely play again.
Top Quality Venue
One of finest courses in the Palm Springs area
A must play Don’t miss the opportunity
An Emerald!!
Wow, so green and lush!! Cart path only (which is the norm this week) but a great job on the overseed. Course was in fantastic condition, greens were fast and true. Just need more marshalling to keep the groups moving along.
Perfect golf day ..
A perfect golf day at a perfect course! If I hadn’t found so many challenging bunkers…it would he been a perfect game too!
A Diamond in the Desert
There was absolutely nothing not to love about this course. From the experience of arrival in the parking lot to the completion of the round, everything from the staff and condition of the course is top of the line. I have had a chance to play some of the more well known courses in the Palm Springs, Indian Wells, Laquinta and Palm Desert area and have to rate the Heritage as one one of my top course to suggest to my other golf groups and look forward to playing it again, again and again! I lived/golfed in AZ for the last 25 years and have played most of the top rated courses in that state, this course rivals my favorite courses there. The greens rolled True and the layout of the course has a great balance of challenge and beauty ! Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys this most challenging, relaxing 4 hours of the game we love to play!!!!!
Amazing Deal
If you are looking for the feel of a private course without paying a ridiculous price this is your place. Course is conditioned like a high level private course, great practice facility. Staff was all nice. Fun layout, pretty wide open but still some challenge. Highly recommend.
Best Secret in the valley
The course is in perfect condition! I almost don’t want to tell anyone so I can continue to get great tee times on this semi private course. The pace is always good, the course has some pretty holes, the greens are fast and well maintained always….come on the weekend for brunch before you play!
This is a beautiful and challenging course.
One of the best courses in the desert. Unfortunately, it was cart path only. Would have walked less with a push cart. Grass on fairways looked well established. No need for cart path only. A lot of walking for Senior citizens.
Great value and good pace of play
I joined a group for Tuesday ahotgun start at 12:30. It was cart path only but we still managed to finish in close to 4 hours and before it got dark. The greens were in great shape. The fairways were a bit long but still got good lies. Loved the layout with lots of mounding and challenging approach shots. Played back tees which made it a long course. Enjoyed the day but will play white tees next time.
