Heritage Palms Golf Club
About
The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Second time I’ve been charged for booking fees
Please credit my account, this is second time I’ve been charged for booking!
Thx
Round and meal included
Best deal in Coachella Valley.
Great course, very playable and almost always in fine condition.
After round brunch is awesome, vast selection and delicious
Course is in great shape. Love playing here it is a fun course to play. Practice facilities are in top shape and the staff is very friendly and helpful
Closure
Did not know when I signed up that only front nine was open. Played it twice. Not a big deal. No on course beverages is a little negative but they have an abundance of ice and water. And I did take Gatorade with me. Play there often. Course does not beat you up.
Course was in really great condition. Greens were nice and fairways immaculate. Would play again.
This course is in very good shape
Every hole is in perfect condition, I will play this course again.
Nice Course
Wide fairways… greens were in really great shape considering the weather…..
Spectacular Fairways
This is the 2nd time we have golfed at Heritage Palms and, as before, this is one of the finest facilities we have ever been to. We golf lots of courses in the Coachella Valley and Northern California, and this is one of the best, if not THE best conditions courses out there. The fairways are like carpets, not just in some places, but everywhere. The entire course and the grounds wreak of intense pride in ownership. Spectacular.
Summer round at Heritage Palms
The staff and practice facilities are first class. The course conditions were way better than expected for a July round i the desert. Greens were really receptive considering the 100 plus degree temps. Plenty of shade near the tee boxes and numerous ice and water machines located on the property. Will definitely play here again.
Nice Course, But Not one of the Best in the Valley (per its rating)
Played this in the height of the heat. As others have said, they keep it in nice shape and everything is fine in terms of playing conditions, But since this comes up as one of the top-rated courses in the valley (based on conditions) I just want to make the point that this is just a very ordinary valley course, like dozens of others I've played over the years. So if you are just coming into the valley for the first time on a golfing holiday and want a quintessential golfing experience, this is not it.
You should go play the PGA's or the La Quinta courses (Pete Dye et.al.) first. They represent more classic, and challenging golf. This course is long enough, but not much jeopardy.. A 5 inch break on the greens would be a lot. Not many traps or water in dangerous places. There were just a couple holes that felt distinctive. The rough is not a deterrent. So, yes, come play here if you've played all those tourist magnet courses, and just want a smooth, fast 18. Otherwise try out the famous courses first.
