Heritage Palms Golf Club

As a senior I enjoy the great practice facilities and nice layout that is not overly penal.

Played this in the height of the heat. As others have said, they keep it in nice shape and everything is fine in terms of playing conditions, But since this comes up as one of the top-rated courses in the valley (based on conditions) I just want to make the point that this is just a very ordinary valley course, like dozens of others I've played over the years. So if you are just coming into the valley for the first time on a golfing holiday and want a quintessential golfing experience, this is not it.

You should go play the PGA's or the La Quinta courses (Pete Dye et.al.) first. They represent more classic, and challenging golf. This course is long enough, but not much jeopardy.. A 5 inch break on the greens would be a lot. Not many traps or water in dangerous places. There were just a couple holes that felt distinctive. The rough is not a deterrent. So, yes, come play here if you've played all those tourist magnet courses, and just want a smooth, fast 18. Otherwise try out the famous courses first.

I'll definitely play here again after a wonderful introduction to Heritage Palms! I would, if I could, give every category 4.5 Stars, by no means a knock on the course. The course was fantastic! As were the facilities and the staff, I would give this 6 Stars tee being a great value!

I want to play here again and again! Course condition was excellent, every category earned at least 4.5 Stars from me for a sum total of 5 Stars. For the price, it's the best course in Southern California. Sure, it's not PGA West or Classic Club, but it also costs less than half of those greens fees. I played the Whites with the rest of the group, next time I'll play Blues and it'll be a much sterner test. Course Staff was friendly and extra helpful, much appreciated. I'll be looking for this course deal every week!

Was really very pleasantly surprised at Heritage Palms. The course was beautiful and well maintained. The value for the money was great, especially the breakfast!

Played this for the first….of several more times I hope. This is superb value. From the parking lot to the checkin to the wonderful restaurant and bar. Really, it hits on all cylinders and the course was in exceptional condition. As Arnold said “I’ll be back”!!

A group decided to stop for lunch at the turn. When they came back to the course they did not go to where they should have been playing, but, just jumped in. This backed up the remaining 10 players. I called the clubhouse and spoke to Moises who said he would go talk to them. He never did and this foursome continued in the wrong spot,

Slowing the pace of play when it was over 100 degrees outside. The course staff should have intervened.

No marshal to move things along. That made it an unnecessary long day.

Everything was in top condition greens,fairways, tee boxes, etc. Pace of play 4 hours not rushed.Challenging but very fair. Fun to play.
