The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Fantastic course, fantastic condition
Heritage Palms has a great layout that isn’t too punishing for the average golfer, yet is challenging enough for most to enjoy. The course conditions were excellent, and pace of play was ok considering it was a Saturday afternoon. Would definitely recommend, and the price, for the height of the desert golf season, was very reasonable.

Last minute booking and really enjoyed it. Course in great shape.
Fun course
Unbelievably wide fairways but enough problems to create a challenge.

Play this course a dozen times since I moved here and yesterday was by far the best I’ve ever seen the golf course. Keep up the good work.
Best Grasses
I have played 12 courses in the Valley this trip this course has the best turf. Tees, fairways, roughs and greens are in perfect condition.
Nice course
Course condition was very good. Green was really fast. Fairway wide open. Enjoyed playing here.

Excellent greens, fun course!
Course was in excellent shape! Smooth, fast greens. Good combination of friendly, open fairways with challenging holes requiring strategy and decision-making. Had played here a few years ago and thought it unremarkable then, but so glad we gave it another go as it has been one of our favorites so far on this trip.
