About
The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

Golfer Reviews
excellent course, but pace of play slow.
Excellent course. One of the finest price/value that i have ever played in south Florida. However, pace of play is quite slow because there are to many people playing without cars. The course is not so long, but its green are pretty challenging, and the majority of the holes are dog leg.
Childhood memories
Used to walk this course in high-school with my brother. Went back with him to see that not much has changed. Very playable - some long par 3's and some tight dog legs. Beware of the power lines that run in front of the tips on #17, they will put a damper on your round. Other than that I really enjoyed a walk down memory lane.
My weekly course
Not a lot of water and OB so it helps my game (high handicap). Try to walk or get a good Golfnow deal because the normal rate with cart is way too expensive for what you get. A lot of novice players like myself play here so be prepared for some slow play. Not suuuuuuuuper slow but way far from fast play.
Very nice course - but pricing mixup clouded a sunny day
Course was real nice. Greens tough in spots but fair. Staff more than cordial. Not a difficult course at all but a few holes can be quite challenging.
Signed up thru GolfNow at $89 for 2. When i got there at 630am they told me fee was $109 each. I was told they told GolfNow many times that Friday was a weekend day and subject to weekend rates but GolfNow never made the change. They were nice and apologetic about it but i still was made to pay the extra $$.
Beautiful course
The most prestigious course I ever played and I live in and on TPC Sawgrass. The staff made you feel very important
Slow play
2nd time in one week we played this course 2nd time it took us over 5 hrs to play because of slow 4 and even 5 some in front of us. Starter told us to call if it happened again which we did; they won't say anything when it concerns hotel guests or members we heard later. Nice looking course but I wouldn't recommend it.
Tom Shopay
Really enjoy the course and the atmosphere of the Biltmore Hotel setting. I will definitely be returning.
nice course
fair for intermediate player
good price from golf now
I was lied to.
Before I booked my tee time with Golf Now, I called the Biltmore course to ask about the condition of the course. Because of recent rains the young lady that answered the phone at the pro shop told me it was 90 degree rule. That was fine with me , however she failed to mention that the greens had just been poked the day before. The putting conditions were horrible. I just wasted $100 and 4.5 hours.
In a very good condition and fast greens for holders to challenge. Always delighted to play here.
My friend and I enjoyed this course very much, but we had trouble on the green.
Beautiful Course
The course is simply beautiful. The fairways, tee boxes and greens are immaculate. The course itself is not difficult but at the same time is not easy, is just difficult enough to be challenging and enjoyable.
I'm going back.
Had one of the best golf outings in a long time. The course was well maintained, fairways was so soft, it was like the ball was tee up,greens fast and true
OK. Was expecting a superior course but got a good course instead.

Good Course if you want to play Miami history and glam
pro
Good Course, well kept, great food at 19th, good staff,
con
too many players and they allow walking on a packed courses, should be cart only, so its slow,. Not mandatory but lots of tipping, good to take none golfers (wife mine).
Resort feel
As a Miami resident Bitlmore is fun because of the resort feel of the course. Its a getaway when you are on the course. The conditions were great as always. The greens were pretty fast and undulating and the fairways were pristine. When the wind kicks up this course becomes very difficult even for a long hitter like me. The most challenging part of this course has to be the Par 3s they are long and the pins are always in tough spots but all a lot of fun. Great experience and great service along with a spectacular practice and warm up area. With the GolfNow prices it is absolutely worth the money.
