About
The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

Golfer Reviews
The setting is magnificent
The par 4 holes are longer than other courses I have played. Even so it was very enjoyable yet some holes challenging. The staff could not have been nicer and I hope to return especially since I will be familiar with the course.
Well kept and excellent shape, very good par three layout
Greens are tough to deal, they are big but ondulated and average speed, fairways were wide and pristine ,bunkers also in great shape
Good course but not worth the normal rate
for a short course it has some challenging holes when the wind is blowing and the course is in decent but not great condition. I don't know why they regularly charge so much for the full price green fees.
Good deal on Golfnow
Course is a nice 1920's layout. Surprisingly wide fairways and large greens for an older course. Well maintained, but not great. If we had paid full price, probably would have been disappointed. Staff were friendly, but we only saw the service cart one time in a four-hour round.
Fairways good shape. Greens ok.
Great course for the price.
Biltmore is a well-maintained golf course that is very playable for any handicap golfer. The staff is excellent also.
Short, but beautiful.
I played the Blue Tees, not knowing the length of the course would be shorter than my average round. I took 3W from the tee more often than the Driver because many par 4s played less than 400 yards. In addition, playing the Blues put many hazards like bunkers and water into play, so being short was prime real estate leaving 100-140 yard approaches.
The course was beautiful and the layout fun. The historic Biltmore Hotel looms over the course and can be visible from most holes. You will know where the clubhouse is nearly at all times. Interesting wildlife roams the course, too making the experience even more appealling.
I definitely recommend playing a leisurely round here.
Beautifull course, well mantained.
Challenging course. As a guest the twilight fee (50 USD) paid, worths its value.
Gregorio (Bs As, Argentina).
Challenging; not boring; hope to do it again, thanks!
Nice track; friendly staff and very well kept.
Being non-residents, we play a lot of courses during our 3 months down here and this was definitely the best this winter.
excellent
the court is in very good condition, the greens is in very good condition, the Fareways these very well, in conclusion the court is in very good condition, the regular rate for me seems a bit expensive for regular days but this removing that part this 100% recommended
Very aesthetically pleasing course
I was able to book the round on Golfnow for a hot deal $59. For that price, it was worth it. However, I would not play that course for the usual price of around $180 to $190, no way. Though it is very pretty, it was not that difficult and I would much rather play a course with more elevations and challenging layouts. Golfnow has been a lifesaver though and has allowed me to play some courses I would not normally be able to play!!!
Good course but WAY overpriced. Only a Hot Deal makes it worth the price.
Decent to good course. Not super challenging however some holes had nice doglegs. greens and fairways needed maintenance. some greens felt like putting in kitty litter. others had dead grass spots and only a few had greens in excellent condition. i only recommend this course using a hot deal. for example, i paid $70 on golfnow.com.
View of the Biltmore on all holes was awesome
Slow pace of play,we had a slow foursome in front and a single and a double in the back of us.No ranger to be found and the beverage cart only seen twice on a five hour round.Went to the bar after the round and food was good but small servings and very pricy. The greens where in great shape, fairways where average.Tee boxes where in great shape. It was a good time but is overpriced.
No thrills...short and not well maintained...
Bent Bermuda grass greens makes for hard to predict rolls. Grass throughout course is not consistent (different types intermixed). Not a pretty course... Way to slow play for a short course.
Nice course but you need to get a "bargain" price.
This is a nice course with generous fairways and great greens. However, I am not recommending this course at the standard $162 to $189 price that normally appears on GolfNow. I got a $62 hotdeal and could not pass on that price to see what this course was like. I have played a number of better layouts with scenic views. There was nothing special about this course with the exception that it, indeed, was in magnificent condition. If you are a tourist, understand that it takes double the time to get around Miami. So find a course nearby if you have that urge to play - save your time and money for another pristine course. Miami is not a golf mecca - I am sure you are here for the weather.
Course In great condition
Excellent conditions, weather perfect, friendly staff, good pace of play, + my best round so far In 2013
Best Golf Course in Southern Florida
This is the Best course in Southern Florida, PERIOD!!! From it's finely manicure fairways to it's true greens. The Biltmore is a must play and hands down the best course in the Miami area. I highly recomend The BIltmore.
One of the true Donold Ross tracks
Great old Donald Ross Course, wonderful condition! Played with a couple of members who were very helpful. Staff was freindly and the food was good.
