About
The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

Golfer Reviews
Overall great experience!
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are very well maintained. It's a shorter course than one may be used to but just as fun and challenging. The GPS system in the carts malfunctioned several times but overall very recommendable.
very enjoyable
excellent as far as course and pro shop friendly people, didn't see the card girl but twice :(
One of the Premier Courses in South Florida
A beautiful course in beautiful South Florida Historic surroundings. A real pleasure and treasure with a challenging layout and greens.
A very good Donald Ross layout, with some challenging holes.
I enjoyed this course and found it challenging from the white tees (15 hdcp). Greens were in good condition and smooth, fairways well manicured and rough was fair. Overall a fun round, while I was visiting friends in the Miami area.
Resort Course
Look forward to playing again, it is a great looking lay-outand fun to play
Straight Forward course D Ross designed. Run by the town and it shows, rough around the edges, bunkers and driving range need attention.
Exquisite is pushing it! Straight Forward course D Ross designed. Run by the town and it shows, Rough around the edges, bunkers and driving range need attention. Nice setting could be a classic if better funded! I do play it every time I'm in Miami it's a good value.
Very disorganized
We had a 12 46 tee time -- we arrived at the starter at 1242 ready to go and were told our slot had already been filled and there were 2 more groups ahead of us
Their solution was to start us on the 6th hole- then play 1-5 at the end of the round . When we arrived back at the first tee againthey had then high school/jr high teams going out and we were unable to finish --pretty disappointing
Also, when I went into the club house I told them I had been calling their phone for days and never got a response. They told me their phone hadn't worked for months!!
Enjoyed what holes I got in
Being in South Fl U take a chance each time U go out 2 play during the Summer.............when in Miami area take the chance, the bar/lounge is rather nice!
Outstanding resort course
Just like Goldilocks...not too hard, not too easy...just right. Fairways are in good condition and greens run true. There is 'trouble' on many holes but it can be avoided -- and escape is not too difficult.
I shall return.
