There are three championship courses at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, all of which were designed by Pete Dye. Snow Mountain is the original course, joined by Sun Mountain, which is considered the easiest of the three, and Wolf is the newest and most challenging.

At over 7,600 yards, Wolf is also the longest course in Nevada but Snow Mountain is quite lengthy as well at 7,146 yards. Dye incorporated his signature railroad-tie bunkers and water comes into play on seven holes. This risk-reward layout is known for having the best par-3s at the resort. One of these is the stunning 16th hole with its panoramic view of Sheep Mountain. It requires a long carry over water but the bailout area to the right provides a relatively easy up and down and the greenside bunkers don't usually come into play.

Course was in fantastic shape

Very nice clubhouse with lots to peruse in the Pro Shop. All of the staff i interacted with were nothing but pleasant and helpful.. Grass was very healthy and well kept. Greens were in great shape. Met a very nice young Korean couple and went around the track with them; seemed like we all had a fine time. Managed to put all 3 of our drives within 6 feet of each other on 18; 2 from black tees, 1 from red. Parred #1 and #18, and got scores on all the rest of them. Only downside was the haze from the wildfires.

Worth the money and drive; would absolutely play again. Thanks Paiute!

Fantastic

This course is in excellent condition. Paiute plays tough in the wind, and then throw firm fast greens into the equation making par an accomplishment. Definitely recommend this course for more experienced players rather than beginners.

Paiute Golf Resort - Snow Course

Today was our first time to play the Snow Course. The fairways were immaculate. Greens had been sanded yesterday, bot were still smooth and very quick. As with many Pete Dye courses greens were challenging but starters advise was quite helpful. I’m not a frequent Vegas person but these 3 courses could bring me back.

Special place for golf

This is a spectacular golf course. I seem it a must play. The best fairways I've ever seen in late August ANYWHERE in North America. I've played a lot of golf in many different places, too. I can't imagine a better set of circumstances to place late summer golf. Thunderstorms, and not much rain. But, cool temps for the desert. Thank you golf gods.

Played Snow Mountain… Pete Dye never disappoints ! Course in immaculate shape. Challenging. Played from Gold Tees (6700 yards)… only hiccup was sharing a cart. Kind of an odd request during COVID times. Nice easy drive from Summerlin n the strip. Good stuff.
