About
There are three championship courses at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, all of which were designed by Pete Dye. Snow Mountain is the original course, joined by Sun Mountain, which is considered the easiest of the three, and Wolf is the newest and most challenging.
At over 7,600 yards, Wolf is also the longest course in Nevada but Snow Mountain is quite lengthy as well at 7,146 yards. Dye incorporated his signature railroad-tie bunkers and water comes into play on seven holes. This risk-reward layout is known for having the best par-3s at the resort. One of these is the stunning 16th hole with its panoramic view of Sheep Mountain. It requires a long carry over water but the bailout area to the right provides a relatively easy up and down and the greenside bunkers don't usually come into play.

Great desert course
This was a great fun course. Challenging but fair with lots of different looks. Will definitely play again or one of the other 2!
Extremely windy/Extremely hard!
My fault for booking a round when the wind gusts were going to hit 60+ mph in the afternoon. Started at 12:42 finished at 5:55 over 60 mph wind I usually hit my driver around 260 carry on 18 with wind at my back i drove almost 400 yards lol. Crazy. Greens were hard as glass and rolled really freaking fast. Makes it really challenging to keep your ball on the green even with a high lob in!
Otherwise great course. However I liked wolf a little bit better!
Over booked
It was really beautiful course in the middle of the Desert. We had a 1:15 start but were unable to finish before the sunset. Was disappointed. When we mentioned it to the cart guy, he stated “I don’t know why then pack them in like that”
Lotsa Wind Out There
But, the course is cool, though we quit after nine due to the dreadful wind...
Beautifully maintained with gorgeous scenery
It couldn’t have been a better day when we played. There was little wind, warm sunshine and a well groomed course. This is always one of our favorites!
First Class
Paiute Golf Resort is a FIRST CLASS facility. 3 great courses, fair but challenging. The staff is extremely friendly. I would highly recommend playing these courses.
AMAZING- top 5 public course I have played
If you have not played here, Paiute needs to be on your short list of Vegas courses. Everything from the clubhouse to range to the quality of ALL the courses is simply amazing. Be prepared to play in windy conditions due to the open layout. Well worth the drive if you are staying near the strip!
Great Course, Great Value
Course was in great shape. Love the layout and the service was fantastic. Unfortunately it was a very windy day when we played which made the scoring difficult.
I can’t wait to play it again under normal weather conditions.
This is the course to play
As a local, yes, I can play other places for lower prices, but nothing compares to Paiute!
The course is great, staff is always awesome, and I believe it's the best golf in the Las Vegas area.

Snow was a beaut
Highly recommend playing this course. One of the most fun I’ve had in a while. Views are spectacular and it’s mountains everywhere you can see. Greens are fast but true, and the layout is a blast. Love the pete dye bunker design - definitely worth the trip. You won’t regret it.
Very windy course. Hit it low and far! Best time to play is definitely in spring/ summer time.

Great course! There are 3 fantastic courses, played Snow and was very happy with condition. However, be ready to play in the wind, very windy today. Greens are lightning fast.
