There are three championship courses at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, all of which were designed by Pete Dye. Snow Mountain is the original course, joined by Sun Mountain, which is considered the easiest of the three, and Wolf is the newest and most challenging.

At over 7,600 yards, Wolf is also the longest course in Nevada but Snow Mountain is quite lengthy as well at 7,146 yards. Dye incorporated his signature railroad-tie bunkers and water comes into play on seven holes. This risk-reward layout is known for having the best par-3s at the resort. One of these is the stunning 16th hole with its panoramic view of Sheep Mountain. It requires a long carry over water but the bailout area to the right provides a relatively easy up and down and the greenside bunkers don't usually come into play.

This course is perfect for the money. Staff was friendly. The pace of play was steady, even though the place is very busy. I enjoyed playing it. It is one of the more challenging courses around Vegas.

Great Track!

I loved this course. Everything was pristine. Greens were great. Not too fast or slow. They were sticky if you hit a high spinning shot into them they would stick. Beautiful scenery! Fairways, rough, fringes and greens were perfectly manicured. The staff was super. I would recommend it again and again. For the price, you can’t beat it.

Never disappoints

This was my fourth or fifth visit to Pauite and my second time playing Snow Mt. Our foursome was out for a week of Vegas golf, and this round was deemed our favorite. Conditions were superb. From tee to green, it's evident they put a lot of work into this course. Sun has a leisurely feel to the play. Great layout and some target golf, but plenty of wide fairway breathers, too. Pauite is also tops for food, bev, and service. We all agreed, next year we're hitting this facility twice.
