There are three championship courses at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, all of which were designed by Pete Dye. Snow Mountain is the original course, joined by Sun Mountain, which is considered the easiest of the three, and Wolf is the newest and most challenging.
At over 7,600 yards, Wolf is also the longest course in Nevada but Snow Mountain is quite lengthy as well at 7,146 yards. Dye incorporated his signature railroad-tie bunkers and water comes into play on seven holes. This risk-reward layout is known for having the best par-3s at the resort. One of these is the stunning 16th hole with its panoramic view of Sheep Mountain. It requires a long carry over water but the bailout area to the right provides a relatively easy up and down and the greenside bunkers don't usually come into play.

Never disappoints
This was my fourth or fifth visit to Pauite and my second time playing Snow Mt. Our foursome was out for a week of Vegas golf, and this round was deemed our favorite. Conditions were superb. From tee to green, it's evident they put a lot of work into this course. Sun has a leisurely feel to the play. Great layout and some target golf, but plenty of wide fairway breathers, too. Pauite is also tops for food, bev, and service. We all agreed, next year we're hitting this facility twice.

If too windy, beware otherwise great
Played in winds 20 to 30 mph. Beware. Wind blows ball on greens so won't stay where you think, all of the time. Course layout and course conditions were very good. I would only return on less windy days, but I would r

Challenging but fun! The day we went was supposed to be a windy day but end up being a beautiful day with amazing views of the snow cap mountains. Love this course! Fast greens though.

Too windy ….
This is the worst experience of our golf games within the past 5 years! The wind is sooooo strong and it blows our golf balls even after they have landed. When my ball is landed right next to the flag, you can see the wind just blowing it to the bunker!!!! Your course is actually very beautiful but unfortunately we cannot finish the game because it’s freezing and got headache from the strong wind. Basically, it likes playing under a typhoon!
