The Biltmore Golf Course
About
The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

Biltmore
Very nice experience, excellent way to spend Sunday afternoon.
Good day of Golf
Thought the course was well worth the value of the greens fees. I really appreciated the Marshall getting my wife and I out before a foursome. We finished in just over 3.5 hours.
A nice day of enjoyable golf.
Dry Course
The greens were not worth the money we paid. I played with a group of GM here and all found the greens not to be in the best condition. They were dry and not smooth. The fairways were in ok condition while the tee boxes were pretty rough. The bunker were very playable and never found one to be in terrible shape. Overall I don’t think I would recommend this course in this rate range, which was well over $100 per player. We played since we were able to get a Hot Deal, but it’s still too expensiveness for the course conditions.
Mixed feelings
So I parked my car and a gentelman in a cart asked me if I wanted a ride to the entrance 100 yards away. That was nice. I got to the pro shop and asked to purchase balls for the range and after swiping my card I signed and he forgot the ranged was closed. He said he returned it to my card and 4 days later theres no refund. Ok so I take my clubs to where the starter is and place my clubs down while theres 3 guys who see ne waiting and they go about their buisiness. After a couple minutes a guy named Tom asked for my name and said I could grab any cart I wanted. I had $3 in my hand to tip the guy but I guess hes rich because I had to carry my own clubs to the cart. He told me there would be a scorecard and towels in every cart but I had to go back and ask him for both. As far as the actual course it was beautiful , very well kept and a challenging layout with perfect green speeds. The only part of the actual playing experience that i didnt enjoy was the amount of workers and one guy in particular had a loud weed whacker and wouldnt shut it off as we took our approach shots. Beside that it was fun and when we finished a young starter offered to clean off the clubs and escort me back to the car. So that was my entire experience which was great for the price I paid but I would have been ticked off if I paid full price.
Biltmore
Excellent condition plus great weather. We were fortunate to get an extremely great price of $31.
Excellent Old Miami Course
Got a great hot deal on this course (which usually runs over $100 a round). Was stuck behind two foursomes for the majority of the round, but the course was in excellent shape and had a great layout so we didn’t mind enjoying the scenery and views of the Biltmore while waiting in between shots. I wouldn’t play here for over $100 on my own dime, but if you get a good deal it’s definitely worth checking out. Staff was excellent as well and they have a nice restaurant overlooking the course.
Splendid place to visit
FANTASTIC! Staff very friendly. For this time of the year the course was in great shape. Green were very nice and quick.
Great shape
Course is in great shape, and the greens were fast. A very good course, but not worth the price. Get the hot deal if you can.
iguanas everywhere
Good layout in pretty good condition. Very playable. Had to get used to the hundreds of iguanas! Disappointing that play was actually very light, but a threesome refused to let us (2-some) play through. we eventually skipped a hole and played on.
Always a pleasure
Always a pleasure to play Biltmore; especially if you like the old classic courses. There's not a railroad tie in sight, good shots are rewarded, bad ones not, and when the wind picks up, as it does most days, the course shows its teeth.
Crews are still picking up from Irma, so there's a little more work going on and unfinished landscaping then one might prefer, but it doesn't interfere with play.
Thank goodness for GolfNow; even for this beauty I'm not paying rack rate in the high season.....
Great place, great golf
Not only is the course challenging and fun, but the beauty of the hotel
and the homes surrounding the course are amazing! Check it out.
