About
The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables sits next to the beautiful hotel, an architectural masterpiece that was modeled after the Giralda Tower in Seville, Spain. Donald Ross designed the course in 1925 and the traditional layout has retained all of its original character. The golf course weaves through a series of canals that used to carry guests along in gondolas. The canals run alongside the lush fairways while towering banyan trees frame the elevated greens. Offering views of the historic hotel from nearly every hole, there are carts available but the golf course is worth the walk. The layout is popular not only for its historic scenery and verdant setting, but also for its playability. Over the years the Biltmore has been host to a number of professional golfers and celebrities ranging from Babe Ruth to Tiger Woods.

Golfer Reviews
Great condition
This course is always in good shape. Even with a recent aeration, the greens were nice. Fairway bunkers are pretty deep and not always easy to hit out of. My only issue is with the GPS. The GPS itself worked fine, but they also use it as an advertising tool for the hotel and other things. It was very distracting, because I constantly had to touch the screen to get the GPS back to golf mode. Note to the Biltmore: I don't want a spa treatment, I just want the GPS to do what it's supposed to do. Give me distances.
GREAT COURSE but...
the starter was very rude and unhelpful. The day I played they were having a special event at the hotel and the overflow of parking ran into the golf lot. I drove around for 25 minutes and asked several people working if there was anywhere else I could park and they recommended I park on the street which is clearly marked as a tow-away zone. Finally I valet and was 5 minutes late to the starter when he told me the parking issue wasn't his problem and gave away my slot. Had to wait 35 minutes to tee off. Terrible service and not the first time from this gentleman.
Great Course to Play
Great course to play. Some of the tee box needs some maintenance. Otherwise, its a fun and challenging course to play. The pace of play was very slow and never encounter a ranger to address the pace of play. Greens run fast, somewhat difficult to determine the breaks.
excellent golf experience
The course is in very good condition. The greens are very fast. There are forced carry overs on several holes. The staff were super friendly and provided locker key for my gear . 19th hole pub and eatery was friendly with good selection of beers and pub foods. If I lived here this would be my home course.
Biltmore never fails
The best South Florida can offer. I'm a proud Citizen of 'the City Beautiful' (Coral Gables), puts Doral in shame, unfriendly and over priced.
coral gables
beautiful hotel and course, would recommend to play!
Great deal, but slow
All was great except a 4 some in from of us held us up all round. When we told a ranger, she said they were on pace. The problem is, Biltmore has set pace to 4.5 hours. Biltmore, golf should be played in 4 hours or less! Please take note
Not what I expected!!!
The people working at the course could not be more friendly and helpful!
The layout of the course is fine, the maintenance wasn't! This course needs a lot of work!!!!
Greens had good speed and a lot of undulation in them! Had a hard time reading them.
Over all ---- We traveled 1 1/2 hours to play here and were very disappointed!
Would not recommend it!
If you walked in off the street, the.y would have charged $70! I would have been really mad if we had done that!!!
great course
Great course, well maintained, greens were very quick. Some challenging holes, with difficult angles and water to cross over.
Very nice views of the historic hotel.
two suggestions
The rough could've been cut shorter, I found it extremely difficult to locate my ball even when I was a couple feet off the fairway. Also, the tee boxs were very sandy, more grass is needed for better cushioning of the ball.
Stunning design but some average holes like 6, 16
The course is great and greens have many slopes. The practice area is great for short game but there are mats on the range. The course is great, but holes 4, 6 and 16 are very simple. Holes 15, 17, and 7 are the best.
Worth the visit
If you don't mind spending a couple hundred between golf, food, pro shop gear, definitely stop by.
Picture perfect
One of the prettiest courses in the South Florida area. Usually out of my price range, but got a good deal on GolfNow. Pace of play was slow, but the area homes and hotel are so beautiful it makes the waiting bearable
Biltmore
This is one of the best layouts in South Fl, if you like Donald Ross courses this is one of his best. Condition very good, value good, pace good. Highly recommend it to anyone but especially low handicappers. A must play in Miami
Pretty surrounding and solid course like always
Biltmore greens almost done recovering from punching. Bunkers in good shape. The course remains in solid shape and like always has some short holes to score on and some longer holes that are difficult to par. I played on a discount so the deal was fantastic. I think for a weekday summer round the price should be around $30 but its get higher than that most times.
Course in good condition
The course was in good condition the staff could be more helpful . The parking lot was full and they had nobody to help with the clubs. The golf was good
Never AGAIN
I was teamed up with a husband & wife & walker and they charged me $30 to have my wife sit in the cart & watch me play "single rider" .... As mentioned I was teamed up with a husband & wife & walker so I had an empty space in my CART!!
I will never play here again & none of my friends, family or business associates will either.
Biltmore Golf Course
Nestled within lavish homes in the heart of Coral Gables, this golf course combines old and historical Miami with modern day amenities. The greens were true despite a trace of being aerated recently. Forgiving fairways makes it better for double digit handicappers. Bridges and lush landscaping makes this a picturesque and enjoyable place to play despite a little construction on improvements. GPS equipped golf carts is a big plus. AWESOME !!
