Bunker City

Sharpen up on your bunker skills because there are well placed bunkers everywhere. Beautifully manicured golf course with friendly staff. Shooting 77 at 62 years of age was challenging from the blues but satisfying. Go Play!

A par 70 course that requires thought and accuracy. The greens roll fast and true, while the green side traps are well maintained. A large gator made its appearance adding to the days delight.

Had a great day ,was placed with another single that plays there alot,which helped knowing where the trouble was,played really well could have putted better and would have liked a couple drives back but shot a 77 overall .pace of play was awesome and course was in Great shape!

Great course and round

Haven’t played it since 2009, but knew of its reputation and it lived up to it. Conditions were excellent as well as the staff. Ended up playing with another single as the twosome I was supposed to play with didn’t show up and we had a great time. Look forward to playing again.

Great course design and very good conditions

The Thistle has continued to invest in facilities and it shows. A number of other good courses have not, such as Oyster Bay. Even tough Thistle costs a bit more than other courses, we prefer to play well maintained and conditioned courses.

Great course, but pricey…heck they all are.

Course was in good shape. Staff is nice, food is really bad. Simple suggestion - sell things like Chicken salad in a cup and a simple turkey wrap a la carte, for golfers at the turn. Much healthier option and old greasy fries.

Great Day at the Thistle

Got paired up with a couple of randoms. Best pairing I ever had off GolfPass as a single player. Chamber of Commerce day. Course was great shape as usual. Greens ran true. Shot 80 from the whites. Played in less than four hours. 68 year old golfer. Loved it.
