Sun Mountain at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

I had a flight to catch and I needed to finish in 4 1/2 hours or less. The starter told me people were finishing in 4 hours. We did it in 3 1/2 which made my drive back to the airport less stressful. Thanks!

This was a very nice course. Everything from the greens to the staff were top notch. I hit it on a mild sunny 89 degree day. Shot a 76 which helped my attitude. Go play this. The clubhouse is stocked with the latest and greatest styles of clothing. Had a great time.

Played the sun course and it was in great shape. However, it was about 50 degrees with 20+ mph winds a howling. My son and I enjoyed the course but the weather conditions put a damper on the day.

Staff and course are both great highly recommend to anyone of any ability.

All good. Not too crowded. A bit of a drive from the Strip. Not the end of the world (next exit?). Lots of targets on the practice range (Wolf). Very enjoyable. Difficulty about a 5-6 for a Pete Dye designed course. Will play again on next trip to Vegas.

Perfect weather! Greens were in good shape. Sand traps needed a little work, small rocks in some of them. The main problem I had was that the course had some gravel waste areas on some of the holes. Very unattractive to look at and pretty much ruined those holes for me. Otherwise the course was good overall. I wish they offered a shuttle service to the strip. Do not use a taxi service to get there from the strip! It’s 2 to 3 times the price as other car services.

If you like desert golf DO NOT miss out on the Paiute resort!! Great courses coupled with top shelf customer service ensures you will return to this destination course. I have played most courses in Vegas, all the courses in Mesquite and the wolf and sun layouts at Paiute are in my top six in the area. The only negative was the cart gals obvious lack of interest in service. Everything else is spot on. Well done Paiute!!!!!

Excellent pace. Cold and very windy on date played. This course is usually windy.

Great layout, course in great shape. Like playing here because it is about 30 minutes off the Strip and in the middle of the desert. Nothing but golf course and views of the desert and mountains.

Beautiful, open and can’t wait to do the other courses

If it is windy in Las Vegas it will be the windiest at this course because of where it is located. The conditions were so nice short of the 20 MPH wind. Had to 3 club up when directly in the wind to give you an idea. The golfers I was paired with were fantastic. We were paired with one lady and they gave her, her own cart which was brilliant for pace of place. You will enjoy.

Had an 8:42 tee time with two other golphers and we finished in 3 hours and 20 minutes.

First time and immediatly catched by the view and layout of this golf the greens are in good condition and could be slightly better excellent fairway a golf course absolutly to play !

If you are a golfer, this facility, with it’s 3 - three, quality courses, each 18 holes, are worth playing, and it does not really matter which one you play.

Sun, which I played this time, like it’s sibling Snow, get’s less attention then Wolf.

There’s not an overwhelming good reason not to play Sun or Snow rather then the always busy Wolf.

Conditions are excellent, and with the somewhat warmer winter weather we have so far had in December 2017, versus December 2016, the playing conditions are superb.

Wind & Weather can change, so be prepared for the fact that this is an outdoors activity, at a higher elevation than the downtown Las Vegas Strip, and you will enjoy.

Handy suggestion: Download the app “Tap to Tee” beforehand, as the beverage cart uses this for ordering, and it will speed up beverage (and food) deliveries quite a bit.

Cigar smokers: Stop at the Chevron gas station just off the I-15 freeway, before the clubhouse, and get your cigars there, they are cheaper there, as you are on tribal land, and the Native American tribe has a Smoke Shop inside this Chevron gas station.
