Sun Mountain at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

Staff was friendly. Course was in immaculate shaoe. Pace of play was at 4 hours or less.

This course, and its sisters courses have been in very good shape. They use ample water to keep conditions nice and green.

If you happen to be visiting Las Vegas and you only get the opportunity to play one course, you should make that one golf course The Wolf course out at Pauite. The fairways are suspiciously lush for a course hidden otherwise by the endless desert. The greens are always in great condition and the staff is generally the best in the valley. If possible, try to play on a day when the wind is calm, but if not, enjoy the challenges the winds bring with them. The endless desert vistas, fantastic staff and conditions, and the famous island par 3 on the 15th, Wolf should satisfy the desires of the most critical golfer.

The Sun course was in excellent condition. I would recommend all three courses at this resort.

Loved this course. Played the Wolf and Sun courses, one each day. Despite being 115 degrees, I survived. Excellent greens, lush fairways, nobody on the course. Enjoyed the Wolf more than Sun. Sun in tighter, lost balls in the rocks. Saw lots if Jack rabbits, no snakes! Lovely, staff and top notch pro shop. Bargain on golf now. Will play again next trip.

Went on Golf Now and was able to book this course for $40. Which was amazing price for this course in Las Vegas. There was a foursome playing behind us who was paying when we came in to get our cart and they had paid $70 each with cart. Sorry they didn't get onto Golf Now and book it. Talked with them while we were waiting to tee off and told them what we paid and they were alittle up set but now they know. lol

The course was in great shape and we had a perfect day for golf. The high for the day was 83 degrees and very little wind. Who gets that in Las Vegas in the middle of June.

Course was in great shape considering the Vegas Area was already getting into triple digits. The fairways were lush and had plenty of green grass, rough lies were fluffy about 2 in deep and very very easy to play from. Bunkers were all well manicured, and had great railroad tie "sun" patterns on many of them. Greens rolled very well, however were somewhat slow at about 8-9. The slower greens made them very easy to putt and chip onto. Overall, course was in excellent shape. Service on golf course was excellent and very attentive. Practice facility is top notch, as they have 2 separate practice areas. Paiute is always a great option, played the Snow and Wolf last year and they were very memorable.

Some bunkers needed some attention and were not quite consistent; otherwise, this course would've crept into the 5-star category. Watch out for the wind! If it seems breezy on the strip, this place magnifies it. Beautiful course and great practice facility.

Love this course. 2nd time playing and the pace of play leaves much to be desired. Tons of waiting. Also, with the weather getting so hot - - the mosquitoes were out in full force.

This place is worth the drive from Vegas.. We played the Wolf last year and it was in excellent shape.. the practice facility is exceptional and they have great beer prices..the greens weren't as fast as the Wolf last year but they ran true.. they had just finished a huge tournament and there were a lot of ball marks that weren't repaired but overall it was perfect!! Will be back next year to play the Snow.. coming from Orlando where there are tons of courses this venue in the top 3 on my list.. don't pass playing any of these courses
